We've had a lot of fun spending more time these days with Jai, Sten, Solveig, Allistaire, Terry, and Kathy. Solveig likes to help Lu with her bottle.

New Baby Tricks

Lucy has hit a few new baby milestones. She is now "cruising" (walking down the side of the sofa or other furniture) and she finally decided that she actually wanted to climb the stairs. She has been able to climb the stairs for a while but just hasn't wanted to go to the top yet. now she loves it and wants to climb all day long. It's a good workout for me. :)

Pat and I had such a fun and relaxing weekend! We went over to Pat's parents house on Saturday afternoon and they were kind enough to watch Lucia after she went to bed so that we could go out on a date! Ah, I love date nights. We need many more of them. On Saturday morning, we went out for a nice walk on the beach before Lucia's nap and then we were able to hike Green Mountain in the afternoon. It was such a beautiful day and I love the Kitsap Peninsula when it is sunny and "warm". I just love being outside and getting myself moving a bit. Lucy did great in the backpack. She made it up without a sad peep though let us know that we had taken too long on the way back down. All in all, she did well though. She was a trooper. Many more hikes to come!
